The Details
With its incredible panoramic views and tranquil countryside, this lovingly restored Grade II listed venue, dating back to 1650, offers a homely and serene atmosphere, perfectly capturing both our personalities and the essence of Cumbria, our home. We'll be surrounded by acres of open fields, woods, streams, ponds, and breathtaking views of the Lakeland Fells. Adding to the charm, the farm is home to a resident whippet, a horse, and sheep, making it the perfect place for our wedding. We can't wait to celebrate with you there!

Directions
By car
For anyone travelling from the North or South, exit at junction 40 of the M6 and head west to Keswick and Cockermouth on the A66. The road bypasses Keswick and about 2 miles further on there is a road going left over Whinlatter Pass on the B5289 which takes you over to Lorton.
Continue along this road for about 4 miles until the T junction then head left for Lorton – the SAT NAV will try to tempt you off to the left down various narrow roads before you get to this T junction – do not be tempted. Do not take any further turns, just follow the road.
Carry on through the bottom end of Lorton and down the valley for about 2 miles. New House Farm is on the left hand. There is a big sign for New House Farm, a large barn, an off-white house edged in black and probably horses or sheep in the field.
